Afternoon Tea

Did you know that the use of afternoon tea among the British population has been established since 1840, the period in which Villa Servais was built. Queen Victoria of Great Britain usually did not want to wait for dinner to be served and had a small meal prepared in the afternoon of bread, butter, whipped cream, biscuits and cake. She invited her friends to enjoy all those goodies. The concept of afternoon tea was born.
