From Villa Servais you can easily reach the Grote Markt in ten minutes via the Basiliekstraat, where you will find the statue of François Servais by the sculptor Cyprien Godebski and the beautiful Gothic Basilica of St. Martin. The Art-Deco church of Saint Roch, known as ‘The Concrete Church’, has also been completely restored and is definitely worth a visit. In the month of May, Halle, also known as Mariastad, grows into a thriving place of pilgrimage and many pilgrims visit the imposing Basilica and the statue of the Black Our Lady.

In the vicinity of the villa you will find the regional museum Den Ast , where many memorabilia around the figure of François Servais can be found and the cultural center ‘t Vondel .
